Dr. Alberto Bordonaba was born and raised in Barcelona, Spain, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery and Master’s in Dental Research. Before he moved to the U.S 14 years ago, and after his graduation, he practiced and taught dentistry at his alma mater for two years.
Dr. Bordonaba had been drawn to New York’s vibrant, diverse and fast-paced energy since he was a teen, which is what inspired him to make the move and further his education and clinical expertise. At the University of Rochester, NY, he completed a residency in Advance Education in General Dentistry and specialized in Orofacial Pain/TMJ Disorders and also in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.
His 13 years of training and his 8 years of exclusive orthodontic practice in NYC has allowed him not only to diagnose and treat a very extensive range of dental, facial, occlusal and jaw-related conditions, but also to provide functional and aesthetic results with precision in an ethical, compassionate and personalized manner.
Fluent in English and Spanish, Dr. Bordonaba enjoys connecting with his patients about travel plans, architecture and cuisine. Outside the office, he loves biking, traveling, skiing and spending quality time with friends and family, but also appreciates down time reading and watching series with his partner and their golden retriever, Bleeker.
