Dr. Foteini Touloumi, DDS, MDSc, FACP, is a board certified prosthodontist, a specialist dentist with 3 years of advanced education in treating patients with complex restorative needs and esthetic demands. The treatment modalities she provides range from complete dentures, crowns, porcelain veneers to full mouth rehabilitations on natural teeth or dental implants. Her goal is to improve patients’ function, esthetics, and overall oral health.
Dr.Touloumi has a wide clinical and academic background. After earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2008, she pursued advanced training at the University of Connecticut Health Center, where she completed a Certificate in Prosthodontics and a Master of Dental Science in 2014. She became a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics in 2015, reflecting her dedication and expertise in this specialized field.
Dr. Touloumi has practiced dentistry across multiple countries, including Greece, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Her extensive clinical experience includes positions at prestigious institutions like the University of Illinois at Chicago, and currently, the University of Connecticut Health Center, where she serves as an Associate Professor. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Touloumi is a dedicated educator, having been recognized with awards such as the Golden Apple Teaching Award and the P.J. Robinson Award for her outstanding contributions to teaching and research.
Dr. Touloumi is an active member of professional societies, including the American College of Prosthodontists, the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics and the American Dental Education Association.
Dr. Touloumi has been recognized for her contributions to dental education and her expertise in implant-supported prosthetics, digital dentures, and the integration of advanced technology in prosthodontic treatment. She has presented at national conferences and has published in peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Touloumi lives in Avon, Connecticut, with her husband, who is also a prosthodontist, and their two daughters.

Dr. Hope was great, but he has retired. Now Dr. Touloumi is seeing patients and is also great. The hygienists are outstanding. The desk employees are awesome. Everyone is knowledgeable and kind. This dentist office is ran by a small group of wonderful people. Happy to be a patient here.
I cannot say enough good things about this dental office and the care I received for my new top row of crowns. From start to finish, the entire process was effortless—insurance, payments, and options were all clearly explained in detail before I ever committed to treatment, which made me feel completely confident in my decision.The office staff was beyond accommodating, and Dr. Touloumi truly went above and beyond. She worked around my hectic schedule and was incredibly understanding and kind when I had to bring my two-year-old to one of my appointments—a level of compassion that meant so much to me. Dr. Touloumi personally followed up hours after every procedure and again the following day. Any time I had discomfort with my partials, I was seen the same day—even when the issue was my own doing. I genuinely felt like the entire office was emotionally invested in my new smile.Although my commute was about an hour each way, I would do the whole process again in a heartbeat because of the exceptional care I received.
