Dr. Mark Goodenough, DDS, MD, was raised on Long Island, New York, and attended Stony Brook University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with Honors. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where he also served as Class Vice President.
Dr. Goodenough completed an integrated six-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at New York City Health and Hospitals/Kings County. In addition to his oral surgery certificate, he earned his Medical Doctorate (MD) from SUNY Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine. His training included comprehensive experience in dentoalveolar surgery, facial trauma, internal medicine, and surgical intensive care.
He also completed a one-year internship in general surgery, further strengthening his skills in the management of medically complex and critically ill patients. Dr. Goodenough has extensive experience with a wide range of surgical procedures, including implants, sedation, sinus lifts, and bone grafting. He is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and continually advancing his clinical expertise through ongoing education.
