Everyone is really nice in the office. Heather is great! Very professional and personable. It's always a great experience when I go in for my appointments.
Dr Schmidt and his staff were very kind, thorough and professional during my consultation. I have confidence in this group.
I admit I was a bit nervous about having 2 extractions and implants. However, I had a wonderful pre-surgical interview with Dr. Schmidt and his assistant. They certainly eased my mind both with their explanations and professionalism. I'm now prepared for the best and a positive outcome! Thank you, Western Mass Periodontics Joe Furgal
Who likes the dentist, let alone being told that you need to have a sinus augmentation , which sounds scary but when you read about it, in less words what I read and interpreted as “ lifting your sinus” And doing a bone graft because there’s not enough bone for your implant! Now that may not be all correct but that’s what my take was! The day came, I went to my periodontist with anxiety through the roof! To my surprise I was in and out of the chair in a half hour and aside from tapping and what sounded like a buffer , a bit of pressure , I felt nothing! I did listen to some great and funny back and forth between my periodontist and his assistant My only complaint was that I couldn’t chime in as they were too busy doing my sinus augmentation! All kidding aside I recommend if you ever need some scary sounding periodontic work done Dr Erich Schmidt at western periodontists is highly recommended by me! One more thing, the call in evenning from the Dr himself to see how I was doing was a welcome surprise, not something you hear of these days but so appreciated!
Dr Schmidt was very personable. He knew exactly what the problem was and how to fix it. A tooth was extracted with no pain.
