Dr. Salzmann was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. He graduated with honors from Nova Southeastern University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2016. He completed his dental training at Loma Linda University in Southern California in 2020, and then moved to Boston to specialize in Periodontology and Dental Implant Surgery at Tufts University. Shortly after, he moved to the Berkshires in the summer of 2023 and earned Board Certification in Periodontology and Dental Implant Surgery.
In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis, hiking, and exploring different cultures through travel. Dr. Salzmann is honored to serve his community in the beautiful Berkshires. Not only is he passionate about his work, but he is committed to mastering and advancing his techniques in implant surgery and periodontal treatments.

Dr Salzmann is very conscientious and caring ! Always gives me time and explains things thoroughly. The assistants, MacKenna, Jenna and Alli were very helpful, as well.
I cannot say enough good things about Western MA Perio...In particular, Dr. Salzmann and Margaretmary. They have been so kind, so patient, so understanding, and so thoroughly professional to a dental-phobic, terrified, nervous new patient facing a variety of dental issues. Each visit has been made (slightly!)less nerve wracking by their sensitive and calm approach, while thoroughly explaining "what's going on", working out the best treatment plan, and performing the necessary procedures with expertise and skill.
Highly professional and yet comforting. What else would you want from a Periodontist and his team? Another great experience with Dr. Salzmann and his team.
