Dr. Salzmann was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. He graduated with honors from Nova Southeastern University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2016. He completed his dental training at Loma Linda University in Southern California in 2020, and then moved to Boston to specialize in Periodontology and Dental Implant Surgery at Tufts University. Shortly after, he moved to the Berkshires in the summer of 2023 and earned Board Certification in Periodontology and Dental Implant Surgery.
In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis, hiking, and exploring different cultures through travel. Dr. Salzmann is honored to serve his community in the beautiful Berkshires. Not only is he passionate about his work, but he is committed to mastering and advancing his techniques in implant surgery and periodontal treatments.

I have had a lot of dental trauma in the past when I say I am a big baby when it comes to going to see dental anyone, my anxiety gets the best of me! I had the best experience the assistant Makenna was amazing and Dr. Salzmann was very thorough, caring and answered all of my questions. I did not have a bit of anxiety, beautiful atmosphere. I would highly highly recommend this Office.
So very pleased and impressed with Western Mass Periodontics. Through an extended series of procedures and appointments, Dr. Salzmann and assorted staff have been nothing but professional, kind, patient and exceptional in their treatment of possibly THE most-dental-phobic patient the practice has had the misfortune to encounter. :) . I am nothing but completely satisfied with how I've been treated, and highly recommend them for the expert and compassionate care they offer.
Dr Salzmann is very conscientious and caring ! Always gives me time and explains things thoroughly. The assistants, MacKenna, Margaretmary and Jenna were very helpful, as well.
Extremely proffesional. I’m a baby and petrified of dental offices. From the moment I walked in until I left all the staff was caring. Dr. Salzmann was excellent inform me of each procedure I could not gave been in better hands and the office is beautiful not like the traditional dental offices
Everything was professional, competent, and I felt well taken care of. Both Dr. Salzmann and his assistant were thorough, clear, and friendly. All in all, a very satisfying experience
