I cannot say enough about this practice. I have a very sensitive 12 yr old who broke a huge portion of his adult front tooth at camp. On a Friday, at 5:00 pm the staff took care of him. They were so wonderful. They performed an emergency root canal with patience and kindness. They were professional and wonderful. I can not say enough about this practitioner and staff. Just wonderful people. I was so fortunate to land there during our crisis. Thank you so much for you care. ❤️

I would highly recommend Dr. James McIntosh and Storrs Endodontics and Periodontics. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and compassionate. They truly care about the patients. I needed a root canal and after much research I called Storrs Endodontics and Periodontics. The employee who answered the phone was so nice and helped me get an appointment scheduled as a new patient. I told her I was in no rush but as time passed the tooth started to become very painful. I called and once again they were very helpful and gave me the next available appointment. Several times over the next few days I called to see if I could get in any sooner. Each time I called they were kind and compassionate and tried their best to get me an appointment ASAP. I was shocked as a new patient that they were so concerned for my wellbeing. They went above and beyond to ensure I was going to get the treatment I needed as soon as possible. Thanks to Dr. McIntosh and his staff I am pain free!!!

I want to thank Ms. Heather T, Lexi and Dr. McIntosh for taking care of my daughter. Dr. McIntosh explained the entire process and made her feel very comfortable. She had a wonderful experience getting her root canal done. She was actually falling asleep in the chair. No pain from start to finish. Procedure was done in a timely manner. I (Richard) woke up with a severe toothache on a Sunday. Monday morning my dentist was able to see me, and told me I needed a root canal. He recommended Dr Mcintosh in Storrs which is 25 miles from me; (there is another endodontist only 6 miles from my home). My dentist said if it was his tooth he would choose Dr Mcintosh. I took his advice and am so glad I did. Heather was able to get me in the next day to see Dr Mcintosh. From the moment I met Dr Mcintosh, I knew I made the right choice. He made me feel comfortable with his confidence, professional demeanor, friendliness and all-around excellent attitude. He explained everything he was doing to me. When done he gave me excellent follow up advice to make sure what he did would heal properly. NO pain or discomfort; and all in one visit! Dr Mcintosh is one of those Doctors you wish could be cloned to do everything, kind of like one stop shopping! Knowing you are in excellent hands would be so comforting. I am extremely grateful Dr Mcintosh chose to have his practice in our area, I would definitely travel an hour or more to see him if need be. I am grateful my Dentist recommended him to me.
